The Pastor Search Committee has provided prayer cards to help us remember to pray—for yourself, for our church, for the search committee, and for our future pastor—during this important time. Please pick up one of these blue cards in the foyer.

• I commit to regular prayer for myself, our church, our committee, and for the candidates with whom we will be in contact.
• I am committed to the unity and harmony of our committee and church. When disagreements arise, they will be dealt with in a forthright and Christ-like manner.
• I recognize I have been placed on this committee to share my unique voice. I also recognize this is a work of communal discernment where all our voices will be heard and considered in making decisions.
• I pledge to maintain strict confidentiality concerning candidates and to honor the privacy of discussions within the committee.
• I commit to active attendance and contribution to the work of this committee and recognize this is a long-term commitment.
• I will not speak for the committee unless the committee has authorized me to do so.
• I commit to communicate to the church the items the committee elects to share. I will direct those who want to communicate with the committee to Colton Sosbe, pastorsearch@familyoffaith.net, or our Chairman Roger Patterson, who will then share with the entire committee.
• I pledge to support the pastor we ultimately call with prayer and helping them feel at home and welcome in our community.

This roadmap outlines the journey the Committee is on to find our next pastor. The physical poster is hanging on a bulletin board in the main hallway. The Committee will continue to provide updates on where they are in this process. Please continue to pray for the Pastor Search Committee as they serve our family of Faith in this important way.

As the PSC continues their work to prepare for our pastor search, they want to better understand what our church wants in a pastor. This short survey is designed to gather general preferences on the qualities and responsibilities you desire in a pastoral candidate.

Some survey questions may be surprising or even difficult to answer. The Committee has been told repeatedly by CBF leaders that finding a pastor today is much different now than it was in the past. The Committee wants to remain mindful of new approaches and challenges and they need and value your input.

The survey is completely anonymous because the Committee wants your honest opinions. Thank your for taking the time to participate in this important part of our journey towards finding a pastor.
