Youth Ministry
Our youth ministry is focused on providing a welcoming community for students where they can develop in their relationship with God and with each other. Students are led and challenged to grow in their relationships with Christ and to love God with everything they are and everything that they do. They participate in Bible studies, discussions, worship, discipleship experiences, and activities that draw them closer into
As they grow in their faith they will begin to discover that the second commandment is a natural “next step” and begin to care about and love others more.
Students will participate in group-building activities and mission projects and will be challenged to live out their faith by loving and serving those around them—even those all around the world. They will also discover that it is difficult to love others until they love themselves. Jesus is clear that we are to “love others as we love ourselves.” Teenage and young adult years are years of tremendous growth, change, and challenges. Students need to develop a healthy self-esteem, grounded in Christ’s love and mercy, and understand that they are created by God and loved completely and unconditionally.
Our youth ministry is a welcoming group of teenagers who like to hang out together as often as possible. In addition to our weekly Bible studies and worship, special events for our middle and high school students are held throughout the year. Some of these activities include camp or mission trips in the summer, back-to-school retreats, service projects in the local community, annual Christmas party and progressive dinner, mystery trips, lunch outings after worship, game nights, and various activities with our senior adults. We would love to walk alongside you and your family as a part of this community of faith. We hope you will join us on this journey.
