Our children’s ministry seeks to join with families in the life-changing work of encouraging children as they grow in their understanding of God and their purpose of loving and serving others, and as they explore God’s Word. Opportunities
As we welcome your children to the ministries of our church, we offer many opportunities for learning and fellowship. Through Sunday School, choirs, mission organizations, and worship experiences, your children will see God’s love in action.
Children ages 4 – 3rd grade are invited to join us for Godly Play in the Children’s Hall after they are dismissed from worship with a blessing. It is an opportunity for children to experience Bible stories on an age-appropriate level in a multi-sensory way. Godly Play allows space for the child to wonder and find themselves in the Bible stories. Children also meet on Wednesday nights.
In addition to weekly activities, special events are held throughout the year, which create an atmosphere of fun and learning with friends. Some of these activities include Parents’ Night Out, Family Fun Night, Art Camp, Missions Days, and Plays.
Faith Baptist Church considers each child a wonderful and unique gift from God. We count it a blessing to be able to care for your children an teach them as they grow in their faith.
Schedule for Children
Birth – 5th Grade
Sunday
Nursery care is available for children up to 3 years old during Sunday School and worship.
10 a.m. Sunday School
classes for age 4 through 5th grade
11 a.m. Worship
Children of all ages are always welcome in our worship service. Worship bags are available in the foyer for 4th & 5th graders. Children ages 4 through 3rd grade may leave the service for Godly Play in the Children’s Hall when dismissed.
Wednesday
Nursery care is available for children up to 3 years old during dinner and activities.
5:30 p.m. Family Dinner
Enjoy a family dinner from 5:30-6:15 in the RA.
6:15 p.m. Children’s Activities
Children will engage in learning, play, and relationship-building in the Children’s Hall and on the playground until 7.
