We are thrilled to welcome Rhys Tilford to the staff as Faith’s new Youth Programming Director. Working alongside our Student Team, he will help nurture community and support the relational and spiritual development of Faith’s young people. In this part-time role (5-10 hours/week), Rhys will plan and lead Wednesday night activities, monthly special events for youth, and seasonal gatherings for college students and emerging adults.

Rhys is no stranger to Faith, having grown up in our church family. He earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown College, where he served extensively in residence life, supervising ten resident assistants and helping oversee a residence hall serving more than 200 first-year students and student-athletes. Rhys is now pursuing a master’s degree in data analytics at Georgia Tech, and he’s able to serve at Faith until his graduation in May 2027.

Outside of work and school, Rhys enjoys model trains, Doctor Who, and caring for animals. Because this is a new (outside the box!) position, Rhys, the Personnel Committee, and the Student Team will evaluate the role every three months to ensure it continues to reflect the needs of our young people and the wider church. We are excited about the gifts Rhys brings to this ministry and hope you’ll offer him a warm welcome as he begins serving with us!
