MINISTRY STAFF 
 

Rev. Bob Fox has served as Pastor at Faith Baptist Church for 13 years.  He served as Senior Pastor at First Baptist South Boston for 5 years and as Pastor at West Point Baptist Church for 8 years.  Bob achieved a M.A. degree from Vanderbilt University and an M. Div. from Southern Baptist Seminary.  He enjoys running, playing golf, Disney, and J.R.R. Tolkien.  Bob is married to Janet, and they have two children, Robby and Evan.

 
 
 
 
 
  
  

Amanda Langlands has served as Minister of Children & Education at Faith Baptist Church for 5 years and previously served as Minister of Youth & Students at First Baptist Church, Southern Pines, North Carolina for 3 years.  Amanda earned a B.S. degree in Psychology at Georgetown College and a M. Div. at Duke Divinity School.  She enjoys reading, writing, and photography.  Amanda is married to Bryan, and they have 3 children, Ava, 9, Vivienne, 7, and Hazel, 3.

 

 
 
 
 
  

Sharon Kirkpatrick Felton has been the Minister to Youth and Students at Faith Baptist Church for a year and a half.  She comes to Faith with over 25 years' experience in student ministry having served in churches in Texas and Tennessee and on college campuses in Kentucky.  She graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Psychology and from Southwestern Seminary with a Masters of Divinity with biblical languages. Sharon is passionate about advocating for others and working to ensure that all people experience justice and are free to live the life God has for them.  She also loves to cheer for the Baylor Bears, Dallas Cowboys, and Texas Rangers!  She is married to Dr. Keith Felton, and they have three children, Carter, Dakota, and Maya.  Matthew 22:36-40 is the foundation for the way Sharon does life and ministry.

Garvel Kindrick
 

Garvel Kindrick has served as the lay congregational song leader since the early 1990’s and has been involved in Church Music since an early age.  He attributes his love of choir and congregational singing to the talented music directors and mentors throughout his life.  Those include JoAnn McCaslin at West Side Elementary, Princeton, KY; Shirley Fritz, Southside Baptist Church, Princeton, KY; Jack Duvall, Youth Touring Choir and Sanctuary Choir at First Baptist Church, Greenville, KY, as well as, the West Kentucky Chorale; Tony Whitfield, A Capella Choir, Georgetown College; and W. Wayne Johnson and Glenna Metcalf, Sanctuary Choir, Faith Baptist Church, Georgetown, KY.  At Faith, Garvel has also served as Deacon Chair, Sunday School Director, and Strategic Planning Committee Chair.  Garvel, a 1985 Georgetown College graduate (B.A. in American Studies) is married to Kimberley Kindrick (GC 1987) and together, they have two daughters, Jessica and Kirsten.

Kim Kindrick
 

In 1983, as a freshman at Georgetown College, she began attending Faith Baptist Church. Kim earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Georgetown College with minors in Mathematics and Computer Science.  Three weeks after graduation, she married fellow Georgetonian, Garvel Kindrick. Kim worked for the Kentucky Retirement Systems in Frankfort for 20 years serving as a Programmer/Analyst and Information Systems Manager.  At Faith Baptist, Kim has served as a deacon, a Sunday school teacher, and has been Treasurer since 2013.  She enjoys taking photos, researching genealogy and reading anything written by Kay Arthur.  Kim and Garvel have two daughters, Jessica and Kirsten.

Lori Taylor is a Wife, Mom, & Blogger for http://myfaithandhope.wordpress.com and has been a member at Faith Baptist Church for seven years.  She studied at Georgetown College and later worked at the college as an Administrative Assistant in Campus Ministry.  She enjoys volunteering, reading, writing, scrapbooking, organizing and planning things, shopping for office supplies, drinking coffee, making lists, and adding to her Pinterest boards.  She is married to Mark, and they have three daughters, Alyssa, 19, Katie, 15, and Lauren, 7.
